National and Europe. Contract based period initially for 12 months part time of full time.

Job description:

Commercially oriented and ambitious sales and marketing expert needed to plan, execute and coordinate launch of new B2B products.

The applicant will work to produce a sales & marketing plan which includes the development of a sales platform to sell a new type of power tool to (initially) the automotive bodyshop industry. The applicant will need to work to a timeline which corresponds to products availability in the first half of 2017.

It is preferred that the product be launched in a small test market first and then roll in to higher volume markets such as Germany later. The target markets are Germany, UK, Benelux and Ireland. There may be an opportunity to sell in the USA as well.

The job will include being able to work with databases, creating CRM system, designing a sales plan and strategy, analysis of the market, creating a website, making a video, working with social media to drive traffic to product site, choosing a marketing campaign and executing it, producing all sales documentation, setting up a call centre and registering all sales in a CRM system.

The price point of the product is €400.00 (£375.00) and in a small market like the Benelux we would expect to sell between 1500 – 2000 units during the first 24 months. Germany and the UK are multiples of that.

The Successful Applicant will:

  • Have experience of B2B sales & marketing for at least 5 years.
  • Be current on marketing through social media and the internet.
  • Be a self starter, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Be confident in working closely with the owners of the business.
  • Be able to travel frequently across the UK and within Europe.
  • Preferably have an understanding of selling into automotive type businesses.
  • Have experience of selling a technical product.
  • Be accustomed to working towards targets or objectives.
  • Be able to work from home and attend sales meetings in Holland when required to do so.

What’s on offer:

Up to 10% of sales values during the contract period, compensation will be objective driven with no cap on earnings during the contract. Certain out of pocket expenses.
